Frankly, considering that NCT is a rotational group where members are allowed to come and leave based on their careers, I can see Yuta and Winwin leaving NCT 127 in 2 years or so and promoting exclusively in their respective countries. They might still remain with SM but I dont think they will continue with NCT 127 considering that SM barely promotes them in NCT 127 so their potential is completely wasted in that group. However, they might continue to promote in NCT Japan or NCT China once those subunits are finally allowed to debut. Its just that, as much as I love seeing Yuta and Winwin with NCT127's members and I recognize the deep bond they all have, professionally, NCT 127 is acting as a road-block for Yuta and Winwin. If Yuta had remained in Japan and joined a company like Johnny E, he would have been one of the top 3 male idols and actors in Japan by now, if not number 1. There is a huge gap in the Japanese market for a young male idol/actor to take over Matsumoto Jun's spot. Yamada Ryo is great but he has still not reached the level Yamapi was at during his peak days. Yamazaki Kento is wonderful but he gets a lot of criticism for his acting skills and the fact that he kinda lacks the "cool/manly" charms.
