I really thought the same as you too… but seeing this news really just made me think it was just a rumour but after seeing the announcements by SM, and how they didn’t do the usual apology and hiatus made me realise how serious it is. Really hope the victim was okay and man I don’t want to believe this news since NCT is my ult and I adored Taeil a lot as an artist. But it is what it is. Fellow cznies let’s still support NCT since the other members really did no harm and let it not affect their activities, specially Jaehyuns solo debut.

Music can play such an important role in someone’s life, literally one song or one artist can help get you through painful and depressing times, can also serve as inspiration for your own personal works and growth, it is also a large part of celebrating certain milestones - graduation, birthday, holiday, wedding, etc… music is also often tied to very specific memories and “eras” in one’s own life… it’s valid for a fan to grieve “the loss” of a person that they genuinely admired and a certain piece of music that they truly loved… it will hurt to not be able to listen to it anymore because it will always remind them of these horrible actions…

@@prachigautam3913 well, to explain that I was a VIP when the Burning Sun scandal came out. I still like Big Bang as 4, bc they got me into kpop. Seungri was never my bias I paid least attention to him. But still that was a shock. Seungri always gave off creepy vibes so I avoided him, I didn’t know why and GD was always warning everyone about Seungri’s friends. And they were scared to go off to military bc they were hinting they’re afraid Seungri will go out of control during the time and they weren’t wrong. So I was a fan when the Burning Sun was opened and soon after, closed. There were 3 other idols involved in it , all 2nd gen. Then the nth room scandal came out together with Burning Sun. It was revealed there are more than a handful of well known public figures including actors and idols in the list. So yeah.
