We were for real spoiled during that era, we good NCT as a whole group, song, variety show ect... it was sooo much fun, I wish they could do that again, really miss seeing them playing together

The only 90s kids in this lineup were Ten (1996), Winwin (1997) and Mark (1999) lmao but none of them would remember the 90s really. Jeno, Haechan, Yangyang, and Sungchan are all 2000-01 babies lol Also I don't think the "love" in "90s Love" meant romantic love, I believe its supposed to be about the love FOR the 90s. The whole thing (song and mv) was centered around appreciating aspects of the 90s pop culture. Even the chanty bits that you said reminds you of NCT Wish. Lots of references to big songs from the 90s like "Poison" by Bell Biv DeVoe in the beat, "Jump" by Kriss Kross in a couple lines, obvious styling homages to the trends back then and Backstreet Boys, the gaming system and computer graphics, even down to them using hockey as a sport because of how huge hockey was then (The Mighty Ducks)

The song is such a time machine back to the 90s. But it also makes me think of how important the 90s were for kpop, it was they time when kpop began so the nostalgia of looking back from a younger kpop group has another layer of significance (SM was established in 1995). These boys may not have been alive in the 90s or have in it conscious memory really but they have been "raised" learning the songs and choreos etc of the groups that were formed then.

I love this song so much as it reminds me of the years I grew up as I'm a 90s baby and the mv looks so fun and feels so nolgastic and intakes me back to my childhood. Also it's just so catchy and dance alongable
