This is the great thing about NCT U, the members are selected based on who fits the song. So for a powerful ballad like this, they pulled in some of NCT's power vocalists. Don't be fooled though, NCT is a 23 membered group with several subunits, each with their own style. NCT U's music is all over the place (in a good way) for this reason. They have Rap heavy songs like "Misfit" and "Yestoday", dance tracks like "Make A Wish" and "Baby don't stop", to powerful ballads like "Coming Home" and "From Home". The members in this song are: Doyoung (Pink/Magenta hair @ 1:31) Haechan (light brown hair w/ White coat @ 1:49) Jaehyun (Black Hair @ 2:08) Taeil (Brown hair w/Black coat @ 2:25), he's the one that sang that insanely high note.

Chen was once asked in a radio show if there's junior from SM ent that he's been keeping an eye on, and Chen said taeil cause he really has nice voice, as nctzen i couldn't agree more , he's in NCT just like Chen in EXO but his vocal runs more like D.O. but in sexy way (?) My favorite part about this is how the four of them have extremely distinct voices that work together so well. Jaehyun's obviously the unique low voice. Doyoung, the warm, emotional, beautiful voice. Haechan with the incredibly unique and clear voice that always brings color to any song. Taeil with such bright and penetrating high note that just pierces my soul, especially in this song.

The member you've been repeatedly having your eye on for his "interesting tone" for multiple videos is Haechan!! he's in both NCT 127 and NCT Dream. NCT U is not a permanent unit and has different members for different songs, so they're usually a mix of different members under the NCT umbrella, regardless of their units (that's why you see Haechan from Dream/127 with 3 other members from 127 here. other NCT U songs would also have mixed members from NCT Dream, NCT 127, and Wayv which is their Chinese unit) The system is a little (very) complicated, but NCT Dream, NCT 127, and Wayv are the three permanent units of NCT. They all have comebacks and make albums separately as if they were different groups, but NCT U is where there's no limitations and members from different units mix. Their NCT2018, NCT2020, and upcoming NCT2021 comebacks (where all NCT members participate in the album) are all categorized under NCT U. I hope this helped?? Anyway, NCT's vocals are super underrated. Their title songs are usually super "loud" but their bsides are hidden gems where their vocals really shine through!

First singer is doyoung, second is haechan, third is jaehyun, and the fourth is taeil. Jaehyun joined SM as rapper for the first, but finally he became a vocal cause he has ability on vocal too. And Taeil has been mentioned by Chen to be the next junior that tipically has the same voice and ranged with him, i hope SM can give more chance for Taeil to showed his amazing ability. Doyoung often to do OST and cover song, maybe you can react in another time. Haechan is the unpredictable person, he has the unique and angelic voice tho, he also can dance well even he's known as vocal.
