@@celine9richardson The reason why there're so many different NCT groups is that it's the easiest way to get fans for newbies. NCT U is a group that doesn't have fixed members, so it changes every comeback. There're 3 NCT fixed-member groups: 127, Dream, WayV, and 127 seems the most popular among them. Almost every NCT member has their own groups, except for newbies (Shotaro here), so NCT U is a perfect method to gain more recognition for least popular groups and also gain faster fame for newbies. For example, I'm only into 127, and because there're members of that group in this, I also support NCT U (bot non-financially and financially). And about the criteria of this sub-unit: I think there's a balance regarding both popularity and skills. Speaking of overworking (Mark has been working for 4 different groups), I think it's understandable since this is an industry eventually, once you sign the contract, you need to follow the requirements. Mark has always been an ace of NCT after all.

I like how everyone have strong stage presence. Yangyang did not fall behind with his rap and his dance break at the last part of the song. There's Jungwoo baby with very very beautiful bridges man HE OWNS IT! No doubt when it comes to Doyoung, Xiaojun, and Haechan vocals. Shotaro shines as main dancer. We have one of powerful visual center Jaemin. Jeno and Mark? Visual and rap? Nahhh they've got everything!

@@celine9richardson NCT U's members are based on the concept of each comeback. NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV members are fixed. There's also a project each year for all members (ex NCT 2021). That's what i know about them
