this is just me but this era was messy bc it was rushed. the promotion period was only for two weeks, ilichil only got three wins, and ofc it was rushed bc nct has crazy schedules. apart from that, some neos are clearly struggling with their health. haechan came back for ay-yo after resting because he’s already experiencing heart palpitations at his age, and now he and dreamies are off to do TDS 2 tour. taeyong’s also suffering because of his back problems - there are videos of him experiencing discomfort WHILE performing. even the shooting of promo materials was done while they were on tour. they had no idea what they were doing it for but sure okay they did it. it wasn’t messy because of the timing or what other issues SM is having. it was messy because it was clearly rushed.
