man i love watching nct wish dance practices because as a ballet dancer there's always so many interesting points to observe and talk about and idk where to write all this info so i'll put it here! For starters the choreo is absolutely stunning, there are so many pretty angles made with the body and it also helps that nct wish is great at highlighting and accentuating these angles. sion in particular makes so many interestingly dynamic shapes with his lower body always being so open and turned out (insane hip flexibility which could very likely just be natural 1:29) and his upper body often leaning to create angles that counteract the angles from his legs. I think in general i've noticed he has a pretty flexible lower half, his knees bend deeper than some of the other members showing good achilles flexibility (is it cause he's tall?) and at 1:07 he looked pretty comfortable and extended on the floor. sakuya at this moment looks good too and he actually looks pretty turned out and open at a lot of points as well. it's also interesting to see how well aligned they are with classical ballet training alignment. their legs are always quite turned out when dancing and for riku and sion especially their weight is almost always on their toes. riku's solo after the first chorus rlly showcased his good transfer and placement of weight. for some of them they also have good alignment with their body often being in a good position on top of the supporting leg. i noticed ryo is good at this (1:05) where he looks more extended and aligned with a supportive turned out leg. anyways i just got too excited watching this video, i couldn't help but rant about what i noticed. they really are insane for such a new group!! *im not a hip hop trained dancer btw i just do ballet and this is what i noticed about their technique! idk if what im saying aligns well with hip hop technique because im pretty sure the standards are different. pls lmk if youre a hip hop dancer who can give me a different perspective* 😭

I'm happy and very grateful to the people who arranged the members' positions for giving Sakuya quite a lot of center positions.. he got quite a lot of center positions this was a fair reward because Sakuya always got little singing parts or even the least to.. I hope this kind of justice will also happen to Jaehee, I hope Jaehee also gets more center positions than before, remember one thing that Jaehee is the main vocal, it's not funny if the vocalist is always positioned behind and to the side..
