my personal response to "The Next Neo Model" miniseries "The Next Neo Model" was maybe one of the most thought-provoking brave, and as Jungwoo said "sensational" competitions I've ever witnessed. The use of innovation, music, dance and creativity was brilliant. And I slowly found myself becoming an avid enjoyer of the miniseries. This is why I think the final result had me so shell-shocked as I began rooting for different people each episode. Don't get me wrong, as a patriotic sunflower, I was quite happy and can't wait to see what Haechan will do with his newfound fame(very excited for Full-Sun Laurent debut)Yet, there were still many times when I had been caught off guard due to the other contenders' outstanding confidence and charisma. This was especially apparent when Jaehyun and Taeil strutted down the runway as every step they took brought tears to my eyes. My appreciation for Taeil's talent escalated even further when he referenced Johnny's 1982 closed eye walk which, changed the trajectory of high-end fashion runways. But it's not possible to talk about "The Next Neo Model" series without mentioning Kim Doyoung who went from being the series most laidback contender to villain to fashion expert and then villain again. Although there's a lot of controversy around him due to what he said in the last five minutes of the series, stating he "hope Johnnyzed fail miserably for not recognizing my talent". I still found him remarkably talented and his passion even if skewed, is what some of the other contenders lacked.
