NCTD BREEZE 2000 New Flyer D40LF

As of mid May 2022 1150 has been officially retired, and is sitting outside Escondido yard. Don’t really know why they retired it as it still had plenty of life left, unless it was a mechanical failure. It’s now sitting with 2307 2406 and 2408. These D40LFs will eventually be replaced by hydrogen buses, but I guess they had no need for 1150.
Here is another D40LF on the 347. 1150 lived on this route on weekdays, but has since been assigned other jobs, and I haven't seen it on the 347 in a month or so. Its a solid bus. Not too loud but has bass to offer, and hauls ass. The driver drove like lewis hamilton and even opened the door far before the bus was anywhere close to being stopped. Other than that Enjoy
