Stage presence is often so hard to describe, but when I look at Taeyong i just KNOW. A good example is in the chorus 0:55 onward, how everyone moves their neck and head while doing the dance. Some members just look straight forward and dont move it at all, some give it a bit more bounce, and then Taeyong really integrates his head with the dance move. He bows it forward to give impact to the beat, he looks to the side to follow his arm movement, he shakes it to emphasize the cross shape being made. It's effortless for him

I also wanna add that Jaehyun is actually the second-best in head movements, compared to Mark, Jungwoo or Yuta. He's underrated as a dancer. At 1:13 Taeyong and Jaehyun are the only ones making the movement "doll-like" which is great because it adds to the meaning of the song Simon Says about being controlled and manipulated. Imo Taeyong is without a doubt at another level, he expresses the dance besides just doing the moves. Jaehyun shows potential but doesnt have the ability to express what he wants fully.

im a new nctzen and wld just like to add on here for this part 1:06 when I was trying to learn the choreo and set the speed to 0.5 it's noticeable that Taeyongs footwork were more accurate than the rest, it's even more crazy the fact that he's also moving backward while doing it.

Yes, all of the young men can dance in NCT! There is no doubt about that. Glad to see Doyoung has been improving with every come back too!...But out of all of them, Tae's dancing is sharper, more fluid and he does things to give it his special own touch without messing up the synchronization of the whole group. These are some of the reasons he stands out and often is center. Of course others can be center and do a hell of a job slaying that spot, But Lee Taeyong owns that spot. In one way he's like a chameleon type of dancer where he shifts to suit the song. Most importantly though, he doesn't bend to the music's will, it bends to him. He's the one and only magician aka the wielder. ☕
