With Ncuti Gatwa I like the humanity that he brings to the character. There's moments where he wonders if he'll be able to overcome the odds and fight against the forces like the maestro in the Devils chord or the goblins in the church on ruby road and I like that questioning because it grounds the character and brings a truth to The Doctor and his attitude. I say truth and not reality because the show being a science fiction adventure show and his mode of transportation being a blue box that's bigger on the inside then the outside we kind of have to throw real out. The show has to have a truth to its characters, it's world, and most of all to itself and so far it's doing that is carrying on that tradition very well with the 15th Doctor 👏
