I'm not saying that the man does does not feel the pain that comes from losing a baby but it is different with the woman because she carries the baby in her and sometimes the woman is blamed for the loss of her child people would say that she did not take care of herself when she was pregnant

you are wrong. The role of Mohammed is a joke. Every other thing is perfect but that northern man role is a joke. They speak hausa that has no single meaning. Or make silly mistakes when they make a simple sentence in Hausa. In this episode for example, Mohammed is wearing a chain. that is not even possible for the role he is trying to portray. I know they probably forgot or did not even notice. He is probably just wearing his everyday chain and forgot to take it off. his stylist or screen director was supposed to remind him. I mean if you want someone who is not a northerner to act such role, get him a trainer. we say we want to compete with foreign movies or foreign series yet we miss out on little details. If an American needs to act the role of a northerner they will get him a trainer to learn all he needs for 1 year if possible.

I was torn into pieces with the cycle of grief Tiwa went through and I couldn’t relate more after going through it thrice. The loss of a child is unparalleled, you have “no memories” to hold on to, only the constant what ifs and it stays with you for the rest of your life even after birthing other children! 💔 In our society where people pop babies left right and center, women shy away from being open about their loss and it’s so easy to feel like a failure, to feel frustrated like God loves us any less than He loves the next person, like no one understands and like you’re all alone as the next woman who has gone through the same experience conceals her truth for the fear of being perceived as less. Its so easy for us to project every feeling of pain, depression, regrets etc on the beautiful creatures God has given to us as Husbands, forgetting that they “lost” too. We expect them to be superhuman and take all the pain away and it’s only “human” that these men struggle to keep up with grieving with us and themselves. A miscarriage can greatly rock even the most beautiful and stable marriage. Please let this be a reminder to anyone who has gone through one, is going through one or knows someone who is going through one to be KIND to themselves and be comforted in the fact their miracle is near!❤️

10:3Honestly after watching this I realized how self acceptance (physical and amongst others) is so important and if you don't deal with it on your own, before marriage, it's more difficult to deal with (together) in your marriage. Tiwa is successful, married to a loving and supportive man, strong praying Christian mother but also not perfect and human. However, look at how much she blamed herself and her body for losing her baby. She forgot what she has, who is there for her, who she believed in, who she is. It's sad and painful because she can't see that it's not her fault. One area of her life that she didn't deal with, affected almost every area she was "perfect" in. She needed to understand that she is human and she is beautiful in her own way just like Mide would always tell(struggle to convince) her. Grieve Tiwa but not at the cost of losing everything else❤️. I forgot this is a series😂🤦

Kudos to you sis! Self esteem issues always show up no matter what the issue is one might deal with in a relationship. If Mide was cheating, she would have blamed herself and her body. If he suddenly became violent, again she would blame herself. If Mide became obsessed with work, and she felt ignored, etc., and the list goes on. We must check ourselves and love up on ourselves at all times, as you alluded to.

I honestly don't know where to start because this episode exemplified various themes:growth, grief and so on. First off, I have never been more repulsed by Mo until now, he displayed every trait of a red flag : Manipulation, playing victim and trying to bite more than he can chew but the star of the episode is how Shalewa handled the situation. Our Sha baby displayed maturity that has evolved over the past seasons. To our TiwaMide, Tiwa we felt and understood your pain, however, after taking time off to process things yourself, the pain must also be shared with Mide. Let me stop here before Mama Tiwa wires me anointing oil.

I cried when Mide cried. I remember blaming myself when I lost my bf August 2011. I blamed myself for not being prayerful enough and for not being on talking terms with him prior to his passing. I fell sick and was admitted for days until the reality set in, he wasn't coming back, I don't have the power to turn back the hands of time. I finally felt at peace when he came to me in the dream all smiles and bade me goodbye. Sometimes we need that extra conviction, that rude awakening to enable us accept the reality that we can't change the course of nature rather we can prepare better and live better for the days ahead.

Amanda A not to justify any mourning as more impartant than the other.... OMG, this made me remember the beginning of my practice, I was working as a medical Officer in gynae emergency. The first few cases I saw were miscarriages. I remember how insensitive I was. It was a couple, barely months into their marriage, I think that was the 3rd month. She started crying during consultation after an ultrasound scan reported a missed miscarriage. In my mind I felt like it's just few weeks. Thank God you're not so far into the pregnancy before it happened. I mean it could have been worse. Then I think later that week, we had a seminar, concerning recurrent miscarriage or so. And then I began to wonder, do you know how long she's been planning this? Probably before she decided her wedding dress, or wedding theme among others. What every woman looks forward to in marriage is usually this fruit. I haven't experienced it, but it's really tough. As tough as it is, not as tough as a couple who has had inability to conceive for several years, only to painstakingly go through financially draining, time, emotion, and energy consuming Assisted reproductive Techniques like IVF, and still end up having miscarriage. Husbands, in-laws, family members, please support your women, concerning any form of hardship regarding this. And fellow medical practitioners, empathy is key. Even if you've seen a million cases just like this one, this is always an index case to the patient. Even though the society and work condition isn't favorable for us, these patients do not deserve to be maltreated. TABLES CAN ALWAYS TURN. EXCELLENT ACTING AS ALWAYS
@RitaObie

Empathy comes easier with experience (not as a doctor but as person who has lost a pregnancy)...miscarriage or the death of one's child is the toughest pain you can ever imagine. It so hard to get over. There are no right words to say to someone who lost a baby. Let them take their time and grieve for as long as they want..it's really ok.

I remember when i was ready to let go of a 3 years cheating, heartbreaks and toxic relationship. I used to fight, shout, cry, yelled and even lost my sense of reasoning because of this same relationship, one day i couldn't take it no more and decided to quietly and peacefully let go. I swear that was the end i never looked back. He was shocked, even i was shocked by my actions that particular day no yelling, no cry, no questioning just a simple pack your things and get out of my house period that was it. Even when he did everyday to get the forgiveness he always get it was too late this time i never looked back.

Marie Claudia me too! After 2 whole years of misery, holding on to the few good times as a basis to not let go, when I was finally done I was done indeed. No shouting, no pleading, no begging. I let him go. Didn’t even block his number. I just went to pray to God to keep me strong in my stance to stay away. Of course he came back, begging, promising heaven and earth. But oh I was certainly done. I was ready to face whatever devils would be out there or remain single for life. And it was the best decision I could have ever made.

I'm happy that this show addresses issues like this. Miscarriage is not a funny experience at all and it seems to be quite common but people don't talk about it so much. I remember my first miscarriage like it just happened. I was already 5months gone, it was the most devastating period of my life, I could already feel his kicks, we had already connected and I was just looking forward to holding him-I blamed myself for so long, and oh, I cried! Then it happened a second time. I still wonder how I survived those periods but like they say "you don't know how strong you are until being strong is the only option you have". I finally got my rainbow baby this January and he's the most beautiful soul. I still hurt when I think about the losses, there are still triggers here and there. I don't think women completely forget the pain of miscarriage though it may not cut so deep as time passes. I pray everyone who has gone through miscarriages or going through a miscarriage gets the strength they need to heal and also get their heart's desires.

Lessons learnt from this episode: 1) love is not enough... Shalewa realises that and refuses to settle for less. 2) Love is not enough...to pierce through the shell of pain once closed off. Tiwa shut the world out...even her sweet Mide. 3) love is not enough.... To blind us from the truth...you shouldn't run away from your pain but rather face it. The pain heals faster. Mummy Tiwa knows this and refused to let Tiwa stay. She needed ti talk it through with her hub(Tiwa that is).

JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE! SEASON 6 IS A BANGER! Olumide took this entire episode for me! ♥️ Even though his pain concerning the miscarriage is also very valid...he exemplified the true meaning of unconditional love and marital solidarity, in how he pursued Tiwa as she struggled to begin the healing process. That's EXACTLY how a husband should be - not just a lover and a provider - but an actual best friend and an ally. Tiwa is definitely being emotionally challenged as their marriage matures - and it will be interesting to see how addressing her own personal wounds will help her blossom. WELL DONE on this episode, team!

This episode is so real. I felt for Tiwa and Mide. I can relate to this. 2 years ago I had a miscarriage, and it was my third child but first ever miscarriage. It hit me so hard such that it felt like it was my first pregnancy. I was home for 1 month, I couldn't do anything,I will sit at home and cry and blame myself for everything. But when my husband is around I wouldn't want him to see my tears because I felt I was weak for showing emotions. And you know how African husbands are, they would not talk or pet you just like that. I finally gathered courage and talked to my husband that I needed some space, to go out of my environment to ease the pain but most importantly, i need a shoulder to lean on. So i booked a flight and we went for a 3 days cool off to Las Vegas. After that I tried to conceive to no avail so I gave up the idea of having more children. Thankfully, Last month I gave birth to my son. These things are so real and they happen every day. We just need lots of support and relax our minds cos anxiety and stress can affect you from getting pregnant.
