This is why the Verb-Noun and Allowed words was SOO critical when Moand (now PowerShell) was created and is enforced today, not just for consistency.

Younger generations dont learn as older generations dont teach, so this has to be discussed again and again. Learning the basics is so critical for the entire career

It's not that hard if you use identifiers which actually mean what they are for. Yes, it may require using longer identifiers than what you're used to, but that's alright. We're not in the 60's anymore when every byte of memory would matter when editing and compiling, and screen estate was at a premium.

Screen estate is still at a premium. Too long names make code harder to read. And sometimes you still have to type these names.
