Good job by Alex Oti, good job by the engineers and companies who did this job and good job from you who made it possible for us within and in the diaspora to see this wonderful job. It is a good job with a very poor finish, the finishing of these roads is very dirty and of a very poor standard, the beauty of anything is the beauty of that thing, such a road that they've spent such amount of money on needed a very good finishing touch which has to do with a very cleaned covered gutter, cleared hips of sand at the edge of those gutters, the contractors should be responsible of any mess done while the job was going on, some parts of those gutters are filled with sand and other rubbish, that only when you can say this is a job well done, does it require another contractor? No matter what you build, I'd those gutter are not given utmost attention, square one is not far from us, I have said it many times that war should be declared on our cutters, it's a very big problem serious attention need to be given to it just as the roads, it's only then this roads can be enjoyed, another one is trailers and mechanics using those road to repair cars, trucks, trailers, and keke it shouldn't be allowed they should operate in their premises those roads are public road for crying out loud, if we want our state to look like dubai, is it like this? You can't find all this nonsense in dubai or western world. If it was like this would everyone be dying to travel to dubai or Europe. Standard has to be in place and everyone has to make his or her own sacrifice the people, the government, contractors.

Your views are valid and I share some of them. However, Aba is in a complete ruin. I am not sure the government have enough money at the time to do covered drainages now. It might come later, but first, let's fix the roads and make them motorable. Aba is not even the state capital but he is doing well to keep the city in a growth trajectory.
