I said to my partner, what gets charged GST when we go to the grocery store? Nothing? The Block won't like this, in Quebec they tax GST with QST. Sound familiar? Federal GST taxes the Carbon Tax. When Harper reduced GST by 2%, from 7% to 5%, Quebec decided to raise QST by 2%, why let Quebecers benefit? Quebec is a "have not province", receives more than they give, while Alberta is a "have" province, gives more than they receive.
