Well actually, age does matter. You're right, we must respect everyone. But that's not the point she was trying to make. She was asking him to "respect her age" basically. A fragile old woman with a disability, needs to be given extra respect. Her age is something one must respect. There isn't a case of not giving respect to anyone, but it doesn't hurt giving some extra amount of respect to someone much older than you. I had also fought like this for a old lady to get her seat in train.. I request all the young boys and girls help senior citizens and disabled. I used to stand in bus by giving my seat to old people. That thing makes really really happy. I feel like am helping my parents. Missing you amma and appa. I can see u in helping elder people.
