Nice! I just cleaned 35 Crappie about an hour ago. A lot of people here in Mississippi call them “White Perch”. We usually fry them in peanut oil with cornmeal batter, good stuff! Great vid sir!
@ndyakangler2 жыл бұрын
I would have kept some of these but I still have a bunch in my freezer from ice fishing. I just don’t eat fish enough. Last time we fried them up in peanut oil with some Cajun breading and they were awesome!

Nice crappies! They are perfect for pan frying. One that you should go catch are rock bass... they are really fun, size of larger crappies but definitely a bass... so fun to reel em in. Especially when you put on a leech Get yourself done mini mites and either waxies or spikes. You can fish it w either a bobber or none. On the smaller of the mini mites I caught a smaller pike 24", walleye, bass, etc. Everyone that uses one seems to always go back and buy more and ask for anymore tips.

I grew up next to a State Park in Southern Minnesota. My dad taught all us kids to fish in the Upper Iowa River. We caught crappies, bass, pike, bullheads and carp and suckers. I taught my daughter to fish and now she fishes the Conowingo. Dad loved fishing crappies. He'd catch a bunch and freeze them, then later we'd have a fish fry. The Upper Iowa is badly polluted now. But lots of good memories there.
