Wow! Thanks for putting this up! I have tix for the November show in Chicago and was curious to see what they even sound like anymore without Dan or Xen. I am pleased. Still bummed i won't get to see the dark lord next month, but it looks like James Dorton is holding it down. Also glad to see my three favorite songs are all on the set list! 😊🤘🖤🖤🖤

Nope. I read their Facebook post. Xen will not be accompanying them on their NA tour this year. I'll be at the show in Chicago on Nov 7th.

@@lennoth He's opted out of all touring for Exul, except shows in Australia. The band made a couple of statements, one prior to kicking off the European tour, and one recently about the North America tour, saying that Xen must have a break due to health reasons. They didn't elaborate much, but it was implied that it's due to overwhelming stress and mental health. The show in Chicago on Nov 7th was kick-ass, tho. James Dorton did a great job filling in, but I still missed seeing Xen.

Overall they sound great. I feel like the drummer goes too hard on the snare at times. Only by hearing someone else play it do I realize how much control Dan has over things like that.

Must remember it's not on the drummer to "play softer," Kevin uses rim shot on most of his snare hits to give it a bigger sound. It's up to the sound guy to make the overall sound even.
