You can’t compare a demo to the completely finished produced version, usually singers will have people in mind when writing songs so he would’ve written it for Rihanna - of course her version will sound better. A demo is just an idea, it’s unfinished, unproduced etc just for the singer to get an idea. The fact is the singers in the demos are the brains behind it all. At least give them credit for that rather than say Rihannas version is better.
