Could you do a shore shark fishing set up? Like gear, line, hook, leader, etc. My boys saw you shore fishing for 7 gill and want to go? They liked your pier fishin bait video. Used your suggestions and we catch more now 👍

I could do that. I don't fish for 7gill though that is illegal. The soupfin season is pretty much done now or at least slowed down significantly.

Cool seeing a bunch of rockfish on the Lowrance scanner 🐟🐟🐟 So many different kinds. Black, china, copper, yellowtail and the list goes on. New species blue rockfish 👏🏼👏🏼 The action is fast and furious❗️

The blues are like smb and the blacks are the lmb. They have the same mouth identification characteristics.

Actually, is there any way I can message you a photo of what I’m guessing is a staghorn sculpin?… I caught one yesterday that was well over a pound and looked like would have been the state record if I’m identifying my sculpins correctly.

Bottom fishing is great. So low pressure and relaxed compared to salmon and halibut. Looks like a good day out there.

Yes it was! There weren't many people halibut fishing out there either. I think everyone is going for salmon.
