I met Neal Adams last year at The Rhode Island Comic Con. I accidentally mistaken an issue of Batman I thought he done. Surprisingly he didn't get upset with me and told me he enjoyed that very issue. He didn't like to be referred to as a legend but for the most part he was a cool guy.

Comic Book University BTW, the issue I thought he illustrated was the classic Joker Fish story but he said it was actually Marshall Rogers who did it. He drew Joker’s Five Way Revenge and created Ra’s Al Ghul. Forgot all about that.

Well Neal was wrong about Aquaman but I understand his criticism it was B's how super man lost his house like they are poor just trying to hard to be relatable he was right about everything though I'm not Shure if pretty boy Aquaman would work but it might the cg and costumes would of made a broomstick work kind of like how Rick flair could wrestle a broomstick and it would work what a since of humor and fountain of knowledge

He was at The Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con in June. I got two books signed from him. I was not a fan of his bantering...he seems to piss off everyone he talks to. I guess he’s just bitter. I like his older covers though! Don’t need to ever talk to him again though.

Neal is great. He's from New York City and everyone from the City has a sarcastic attitude. I'm from Jersey so I get it and we were talking for a while before I asked him if we could record our banter I told him I've heard people get nervous or shook-up when he'd start making jokes. I told him I'm not a snowflake so feel free to lay it on thick. My wife, who's Canadian, laughed nervously at first because she hasn't seen me talk to many people from NY/ NJ and she thought that we were arguing at first. "No," we said, "that's just how we talk."
