I just finished his book. Unbound... Simply profound! My local Grey Friars offered to educate me further in the deliverance ministry.

I read almost entire book and head so many recommendations+ testimonies of people who went through Unbound prayer 🙏🏻 But one thing i found is lacking inside the book is false images of God the father and false mindsets, i had a feeling 90% of entertances they have been working with were emotional wounds or traumatic experiences

Ok, brought the "unbound book" but have not started in the ministry, there is a few things that I was a Catholic had to ponder on, one is there a danger in placing your hand on others that you have no authority on as laypeople?? For the natural order as a parent can place their hands on their kids? is laypeople opening-up an entry point for evil spirits? as this is a mini exorcism? So seeking advice regarding vvhat is our duty as laypeople and as a priest who practise exorcism?
@johnwachowicz19664 жыл бұрын
SISTA MARIA lay people can pray minor deprecatory exorcisms (in which we ask God to remove any evil spirits), in recognition that God has authority over the demons. In other words, we petition God for His action. For a major exorcism, a priest is given faculties by his local ordinary to pray a major exorcism which includes imprecatory prayers, in which the priest invokes his own authority as a cleric over the demon.

I went to one of these conferences about three years ago, got to speak with Neil a bit, when he told me that he considered John Wimber to be a great man, I checked out mentally for the rest of the conference and regretted going. John Wimber gave a platform for a number of false prophets like Bob Jones and Paul Kaine. Very disturbing.

I think most of us in life believe in people and admire certain aspects of their lives without subscribing to everything they believe in or do. You can take the good aspects of Neal’s ministry and spit out any bones.

I WOULD LIKE FOR MORE CATHOLIC PRIESTS AND LAYPEOPLE TO PREACH AND TEACH MORE ABOUT GOOD WORKS...I AM SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE BEING ADVISED TO SAY CATHOLIC DEVOTION PRAYERS FOR EVERYTHING ..IT RARE THAT CATHOLICS ARE TOLD TO HELP THE POOR AND NEEDY AS PLEASING TO GOOD...

People need deliverance. They are in bondage. The enemy is not spoken about in our churches, yet it exists. satan has a plan for people's lives. People need more awareness as to the doors they have opened to the darkness. They need tools to help them close those doors and live in the freedom of Jesus Christ.

Did you follow the advice of having a devotion though? Devotions help you on how to be obedient and dedicated to God's will. Devotions also cultivate virtue and in time you'll notice that they'll change your perspective in life. You become more merciful...you become hopeful and you become inspired to help others the way God wants you to help. Ora et labora... pray and work. When your spirit is fed by the devotions and the sacraments, it can sustain you on whatever ministry God wants you to be in. St. Mother Teresa has a devotion to Mother Mary. St Kolbe had a devotion to Mother Mary. We are all called to help our brothers and sisters who are vulnerable not just for their temporal but also in their spiritual needs. How can they know God's mercy from someone lending them a hand if the person helping only has a superficial understanding of what mercy is? A lot of priests and lay people do preach more about good works but they are not on KZbin (Check out the Missionaries of Jesus). Pope Francis himself teaches about good works. Not everyone is called to specialize their teachings to good works. We are all given different charisms to glorify God.
