Why 41212(2) is the best formation for Tiki-Taka/Wins (TACTICS) - FIFA 19 Ultimate Team

If you are still finding this formation quick attacking, leave the CAM on balanced and change the defensive style to balanced, as you are probably aware I naturally play quite attacking but I just tested these changes and these should be adjusted and suitable for the players that find this current tactic to be too open.

I’ve been playing 4-2-3-1 the whole year and that’s how I get my most consistent gameplay. Switched to 4-1-2-1-2 and jumped from div 4 to 50 skill points away from div 2. A week later I’m back in division 4 and about to get relegated to 5. This game is so fucked. I try and play sound football but many times can’t with OP defending and teams. I feel so much more skilled than my opponent and don’t think there’s a chance of me losing half way through the game. However, I end up losing by 2-3 goals. People exploit the fuck out of shooting from anywhere and gaining corners. I love this game but absolutely fucking hate it at the same time. For fuck sakes, I hope 20 is significantly different.

Exactly the same story on my side. From Dev 2 to Div 5 in one week. Unreal posts and crossbars hit and getting top corner screamers from my opposition. Just laugh at it now.

Same here. I just played close to 20 games. Went from div 2 to 4 as I won 2 out of 20. Sluggish game play, hitting posts and missing open goals and the rest. It's so frustrating

Tip about the corners. If you put that on 5 your opponent will not have enough players to counter you as the game will always have your opponent defend with 10 players and one sole striker against 3 defenders!

This formation is without a doubt the best one to use considering that almost everyone uses 4-2-3-1, it opens up every defence and have helped me get to 1 division. If it doesn’t work out, try 4-4-2 (2) instead, one of these two will undress the other team

After not playing Fifa for a couple years i came back in F18 and had to find my playstyle first. Tried 4231, 442 but this 41212 narrow one day became the real deal for me. I grinded and grinded and from Gold 2 i worked my way into Elite 1. Yes, Elite 1. I absolutely loved this Formation and i think im able to say i was able to Play it perfectly. Coming into F19 i started with this Formation, first WL: Elite 2 … but then ppl started to more and more understand F19 and it became difficult. Ppl, atleast the better ones, had slow build up Play, getting Forward and just tried to abuse first time finesses in 4231. This is something 41212 struggled with. After the patch it became better but still, i dont find 41212 to be as good as last year. Not just because of the meta but more because it doesnt Play / function the same as last year. The CM's are wild, way to many players run inside the box, the wingbacks are way to offensive. I usualy liked that and ist fine going Forward but they leave to much space often. Sure, 41212 is still playable but its far from beeing as good as last year.

I was doing bad in WL with 4321 and 433 so I said eff it and switched to this and actually made gold 3! my team just did not work with other formations due to not having a lot of height for crosses etc. I have shorter and quicker players with high dribbling so tiki taka is the best type of play for me! thanks for this new video Neal!

I use that and 442 with Attacking Full backs I like to tiki taka and through balls and yea they both great I prefer 442 more option for passing and I usually get Elite 2 and maybe Elite 3

Hi neal my names Steve not Kirsty it’s my gf account,,I personally believe that this formation is one of the best to use ,it has a bit of everything,,what made the 4231 popular was tekzz ,but that’s his way of playing, the 4231 is just so slow,and boring and very predictable you get stuck in the same patterns with the 4231 ,,it’s two biggest weakness are the space from the double pivot that sit behind the cams,and it’s not the sort of formation that you can quickly counter with,and being the fact top pros and elite players mainly use drop bk by the time you get the ball into the box with 4231 their whole team is in the box then it’s about recycling again and again to try to find a space,,what people think about tekkzz style with the 4231 is when he uses it to great effect it must be good,but tekzzz technically doesn’t play a 4231 he plays a 424 because he has all the cams on stay forward.
