During the Nitro Circus show in Indianapolis, FMX rider Harry Bink attempted a Backflip Rocksolid and nearly died!
I also tried a new world first on BMX(Frontflip Bikeflip) plus a bunch of other crazy tricks.

mTBI's are no joke. These extreme sports just keep pushing and pushing. Talented guys for sure but not worth the risk IMO. I use to do crazy stuff- then I grew up. For them, it's a social thing- they are having fun and NEED acceptance. They find it in doing extreme things with their friends. It's like a drug as well- even they need the rush. Sad because many end up really hurt. NO- his brain injury is not something he will walk off- yell parkour and tough out. I got one whack to my head and I am still not the same 3 years out. It can leave you a hot mess with all kinds of deficits- lack of energy, sweating, cranky, nothing good about hitting your head. NO, a helmet does NOTHING against a concussion- only fracture. Wear one but don't jump off high things. One good thing came out of my injury- I got very survival and health conscious. I am quite healthy today and making real progress. There was a time when I could not tie my shoes or hold a conversation. Real scary stuff- going from a provider on a Monday to a dependent on a Tuesday with no hope. Very scary stuff...yet people say..."You look fine."

Once in a lifetime save. Every rider gets one, I’m glad that was his cause a belly flop to anything but foam or a bag is normally a fatality. So glad he had the presence of mind to stay with the bike on that one. Instinct when something goes wrong is to bail but in the position he was in when things went wrong there wasn’t a good bail option. You never wanna be belly down when things go wrong, scary accident!
