@@talehilyasov5967 The northern limit of 6 months of day and 6 months of night is at the Arctic Circle, which is located at a latitude of approximately 66.5° north. This is the boundary where the phenomenon of midnight sun (6 months day) and polar night (6 months night) begins to occur. North of this latitude you will find that the sun does not set in the summer months and does not rise in the winter months for varying periods. The closer you get to the North Pole (90° north), the longer these periods last. At the North Pole itself, both day and night last for about 6 months each. Around the Arctic Circle, you experience one day in summer when the sun never sets (midnight sun), and one day in winter when the sun never rises (polar night). At the North Pole you have one long summer day, which lasts approx. 6 months, and one long winter night of approx. 6 months.

Thanks for putting this on yt. Also very appreciative to not commercialise this and have to pause and stop through all the ads. Pretty robust camera too, to endure all that wrestling up there. Pity there was no telemetry to indicate time and time lapse with hround time in comparison, temps, altitude, wind speed and direction, distance away from launch site, velocity of travel, northerly or compass points, barometer pressure, g force. This certainly takes the argument out of the speculation. Cheers

@Dmgolfer22
@Dmgolfer22 8 ай бұрын
@@Gutigwolfe perspective my friend. There is a vanishing point. Everything below our vantage point rises to meet the horizon and every above our vantage point goes down to meet the vanishing point on the horizon. It’s quite simple. there is no drop off on the horizon. However, if on a ball no matter the size as you go up in altitude the horizon would stay fixed and you would have to continually look further and further down to see it as you rise in altitude. However, the fact that in these high altitude ballon videos the horizon stays level with the camera (rises with the observer) and in the cameras field of view proves a flat, level surface because that is ONLY possible on a flat surface. If the earth was a ball these cameras looking straight out should only capture space and we wouldn’t be able to see the ball earth since the surface would falling away in all directions.

What do you mean? Why Sun has a single source of light? Why the entire space is not lit up and is dark? If it's the former, the sun is a star and the heat and light comes from it's core. For the latter, our atmosphere has gas molecules that disperse(spread) light and make the sky look blue and bright. In the void of space there's no molecule dense enough to reflect and disperse light, hence it is dark.

@DeadEyeJedi
@DeadEyeJedi 5 жыл бұрын
@@bojackson3923 If you sat on the hood of your car that is doing 100mph, you would feel the wind that is almost stationary hitting you at the speed the car is moving, however, the atmosphere is _part_ of the Earth system, it is moving _with_ the Earth, as is the car, but the car has accelerated so that it is moving _faster_ than the Earth system, which is why you feel the air hitting you. You assume an enclosed system _must_ require a solid container, but how do you think bubbles exist underwater? There is an enclosed sphere of air in a bubble, but it is _only_ the pressure differential that is stopping the water from pushing it. This _proves_ that two different pressures can exist without a physical barrier. The atmosphere works slightly differently to a bubble, it gets thinner, air pressure reduces as it goes upwards, so the closer you get to vacuum the less air pressure there is, there's no need for a solid barrier, because by the time you are several hundred miles up, the air pressure is practically zero anyway. The _reason_ air gets thicker as you get closer to the ground is because of Gravity pulling on the air molecules. The Big Bang has nothing whatsoever to do with the shape of the Earth, at least in the classical sense, that's just a movement of the goalposts, the fact you don't believe in the Big Bang has nothing to do with the evidence of a Spherical Earth. Also, assuming something is a lie because _you_ think it _looks_ fake is argument through incredulity, it is not evidence of _anything_ . You are still effectively saying 'this isn't what I want the truth to be, therefore it must be a lie.' Speed is relative to something else, a thousand miles an hour is nothing, even tens of thousands of miles an hour is nothing if everything is moving at that speed. Acceleration is a different matter, but once something is moving at a fixed speed you do not feel that speed at all, a car accelerating to 100mph will push you back in your seat, but once it is cruising at that speed you do not feel it. This is a good example of relative motion in action - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYaxpnmJfa-Xfa8

@@JamesHawkeKZbin No, it's NOT, and we can easily prove it to you. If you stand out at dawn, and record the compass position of the rising sun, and you and your friends did that from countless places at all different latitudes, on the very same day of the year, from everywhere on earth, you would find that ALL the rising sun compass angles of ALL those positions were EXACTLY THE SAME!! That shows that the suns rays are virtually parallel, and that the sun is VERY VERY far away. The assertion that it is local and small is ridiculous and stupid. It is 93 million miles away and 860,000 miles across, 109 times larger than the earth, a nuclear fusion reactor produced by gravity having pulled its monstrous mass of gases into one place with core temperatures of in excess of 10,000,000 degrees K. If it was not a giant fusion reactor in space, it could never been this hot this long, and will be again another 5 billion years into the future. NO amount of conventional fuel, and no hot object's heat can last that long. Only nuclear fusion of hydrogen into helium can explain it. The sun is a star.

Loved this, but what I would like to see resolved, once and for all is when those who make such videos NOT use a GoPro lens, as it totally distorts the actual horizon. It dips into concave and then warps into convex, and I get dizzy watching it. Why can't they just use a regular camera lens that shows what's actually being filmed, and show the way it truly IS? Is that too much to ask?

Husband and Father how has this proved it to be wrong? Flat earthers literally bought a laser gyroscope thing for tens of thousands of dollars to prove there was no rotation, but no matter what they did, they found a 15° per hour rotation every time. This is the most accurate experiment you can do to measure rotational speed of the Earth, and that is indisputable. Not some video footage, which is all flat earthers base their assumptions off.

The more weight you add to a balloon, the more helium is needed to lift it. Problem happens when you get around 35,000ft. Your large amount of helium will begin to expand and become 5X bigger with less lift. So the bigger and heavier objects on balloons will limits the elevation it can achieve.
