There, in His grace we stand, by His grace made whole, by His grace we are loved. Once a lady was doubting God's love, she was walking dejectedly, but picked a flower as she walked along her neighborhood in South Florida. As she was crossing a bridge, the Holy Spirit, in her heart, whispered for her to toss the flower into the waters. She could not understand why, but she did so. As she walked a few more steps, she looked back, but all she saw was the many waters. That is so true. I often feel my hymnal is like my second bible. The words and thoughts of the hymns are more often than not taken straight from the scriptures. We love singing praises to our Lord Jesus. We are glad you are blessed by it too.

Thanks for the beautiful rendition of , "Near the Cross". It's so relevant for this Easter as we think on all our loving Heavenly Father has done, still does and will do for us into Eternity. What a special person Fanny Crosby was as God's writer of thousands of hymns and blind from birth. I'm sure she would love to be hearing this song she penned in 1869.
