Ok i know it s a 8 months old video, but at home i have a bluetooth speaker that also can be used for call and tws earbuds with multipoint connectivity...so i dont really need a speaker on it...and if you really want one you can always add small third parties add-on.

The thing is .. sony has made very wrong decision by volume limiting their USA walkmans like the euro ones They reduced the power out from : 200 w per ch. (Asian models ) to a very laughable 1.1 mw per ch. !!!!!!!!!! So for hard earned 900$ you get a very very unacceptably weak output power 😮 and removed high gain too as this one supposed to have 2 stages of gain output

Eh, you actually can make it smaller if you enable Android's developer options. Set a new number at the settning 'Smallest width' there and then increase the text size a little in the regular options.

I get why they wouldn't put a speaker on this device. While I understand the use that is described in the video, I fear that most people will think of a speaker as meaning to be used to listen to music direct from the device and will be disappointed by any speaker they could fit on the device. It's going to be hard to reset people's expectations to be more in line with the video describes as a use for a speaker. Better for them to leave off a speaker and not have to address the issue.

This isn’t for the average consumer. The people who will actually buy something like this will have a specific use for it, or they’re an audiophile who would never listen to music through a tiny speaker anyway. Being able to preview or confirm a sound file through a small speaker actually makes sense though, especially if incorporating this device into a live performance environment. Not necessary, but not having a little speaker does further limit the use cases for this device

Save your money and don't buy the ZX707. Cheaper model has better audio; many other choices for a DAP that won't break the bank and make you return it as I returned mine.

Nice video Can we download apple music on this and play hires losses streaming via WiFi? Can we use it outdoors by using hotspot of other cellular networks about the dsd and Ai and vinyl filter if 16bit 44.1 khz get enhanced to hi res 24 bit 192 and beyond upto DSD or one has to have main source of streaming / sd card audio saved with that quality what is sd card capacity? I really wish this was a phone it’s freaken magical the hard metallic look is just eye candy I honestly couldn’t justify the expense for an mp3 but I am planning on my next phone being an asus wog or a Sony smartphone

there is one practical concern, does it play in modern cars....Toyota no longer supports iPod classic OS, since about 2018...if I plug this to my 2023 Toyota USB port, can the car detect it and play it?

I always learned one thing from my father, who was a music teacher, and had a pretty good hearing. "straight lines are the best lines" Any after processing tends to lower quality. Try to capture the audio as good as possible. Then don't do silly things with it after. But hey it is nice this thing supports a lot of high quality audio codecs and has the required quality parts to make it work. Just not a fan of a lot of "after work" it seems to push.
