I once saw a story out of Australia. One person had just been snatched by a large crocdodile while he was wade fishing. It was the second person in like just a few months at that location. There were multiple large signs that said: DANGER - CROCODILES - NO FISHING, and as the news crew is filming the story you see about 6 or 7 people fishing, nearly waste-deep in water. When you're even NEAR the water you're in THEIR domain. They can strike like a rattlesnake and take you away before you even have time to get out a scream. They don't care if you have 2 kids at home. They don't care if you're a really nice person that cares for the elderly. They're hungry, and you're food. They eat, you die. Life goes on, just not yours. There was another story years ago, also out of Australia. A group of teenagers where partying at night on a boat dock, in what looked like a canal, and one decides to dive in for a swim. Never to resurface. Not a peep out of him. So the croc. that got him was actually watching.........and waiting. Play *REALLY* stupid games and you don't even live long enough to realize you won the stupidiest prize of all.

That is terrible & I'am sorry to hear about all that but this situation & tragedy was a little different. Did u hear everyone saying it could have been anyone bc there's not too many gates to keep the alligators in "their territory" he may have just been walking like the guy who found the body & said he's not gonna walk that route anymore. Unless this victim was actually down wading by or in the water or even fishing. This wasn't imo then something he was invading the alligators privacy. But that is so true anytime u step into the ocean. U are in the sharks house. U are taking that chance. I love the beach & water but absolutely terrified of sharks as well. Regardless this poor guy/woman lost his/her life. I hope he/she didn't suffer. That alligator was HUGE. So sad.

Condolences to the family of the deceased person. Why do people act shocked that there are gators in waterways in Florida? I am a native Floridian, and one of the first things I was taught as a child was what I call gator safety, and I taught it to my children. That doesn't mean accidents won't happen, but it does help keep you aware of your surroundings and what to look out for. Honestly, we should teach about this in schools, since we have so many people moving into the State who are from areas that don't have gators.

As someone who was nearly a victim of an Alligator in 1984, I know about this very well... I was in the lake trying to retrieve my Fathers fish hook from an apparent tree log. This log turned out to be an Alligator possibly 12 to 14 feet long... The Alligator was feasting on a carp my dad had caught on his fish hook... When i saw it coming towards me i stood perfectly still... He swam around beside me hitting my legs nearly knocking me into the water... The water was so sandy and murky brown, i just barely saw him... if it hadn't been for that carp I would have disappeared that day...being 30 feet from the shore wasn't exactly comforting either... When an Alligators food supply or source is in decline, cut short, or scarce they may go after humans...they can also attack you if provoked or threatened.... Almost always the Alligator will place its victim under the water hidden from view... not out in the open where anyone can find it.... I feel sorry that Her Mother was homeless, no one should ever be homeless... Being on the street regardless of the situation is a truly painful experience in itself and you at the mercy of literally everything, not just Alligators... I feel sorry for the euthanized Alligator as well as it was just trying to survive....If it is hungry, it knows only one thing find food any kind of food...to an Alligator if it moves its usually food.... Alligators can be found in any source of fresh water creeks, rivers, lakes, ponds, etc., not just in Florida..... so be watchful of those areas even if you think there are no Gators in there ... 😁👍💜💜💜 Edit.... Thank You So Much Everyone For the 540 Likes, I've never received so many, I was expecting maybe 2 if any, I am just speechless.......

Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. Salam (Peace)

73 years of florida alligator attacks say otherwise. From 1948 to 2021, 442 unprovoked bite incidents have occurred in Florida. 26 of the bites resulted inpeople being killed by wild alligators. A total of 303 people have received major injuries and 139 have received minor injuries over the same time period. The deadliest year on record for deadly alligator attacks was in 1993, when two people were killed. There's 1.3M wild alligators in Florida. The population of Florida is 21.78M. That's roughly 1 alligator for every 20 people in Florida. If alligators were as deadly as your think they are there would be a lot less people in Florida. 73 years of florida alligator attack statistics say other wise. @@oneeyedjax2431 I lived in a condominium community where they carved out small, man-made, interconnecting and deep lakes, which had easy access shorelines with no gates to slow the gators down, because gators can climb fences... Yeah, I said it. Gators can climb fences... look that up on KZbin for a real life horror show. So, one day an elderly woman was walking her small dog along the water's edge, and a gator shot out of the water and snatched her little dog from the old woman never to be seen again. Pets tend to be the most vulnerable to gators, especially dogs that like to swim. If you let your dogs near easy access shorelines for a gator to hunt, if it's hungry and opportunistic, that gator will come quick, and swipe a good dog. So nothing is safe from them... that's the real point, I am making. Gators will eat pets, toddlers, children, and adult people... they have done so, so I just avoid easy access shorelines and bodies of water which the deepest point can't be observed by the naked eye.
