You guys that saved his life are heros and should be rewarded big.

The surfer who arrived first on the scene to offer help and his board is my son Zachary Sato. Executive Chef at Merrimans Waimea. This should be on the national news. I would love to know how the man is now and maybe get his go pro back to him.

Very proud of the local surfers... God-sent for the snorkeler. He is so fortunate that he has another chance in life.

Thees surfers are so cool, calm, can collected. That guy would have drown without their help. If you ever get in trouble in the water, DON'T PANIC, 'cause it could be the death of you.

Cardinal rules: Never go swimming on your own. Always have someone close to you in case one of you needs help. Don't go swimming on open water if you're not a strong swimmer. Don't go snorkeling on strong current. Bad conditions like this can put your life in danger. Lucky some surfers spotted him in time.

I would be embarrassed enough to drown myself

Half of these comments are "You stupid snorkeler what were you thinking" and the other half is "The guy with the surfboard was a hero, good job!" Clearly this is a "pick a side" kinda video

Terrible! The man is incoherent! With a gopro to record his near drowning!
