Every time you blow my mind. No one could imagine that the basis for such intricate and detailed buildings are cereal packets!!

Another super job. Adding the roadway as part of the building really makes the backscene modular. It just gave me an idea of setting up backscene building's footprints up to change there locations on the layout if I see hit. This holds true considering the viaduct hiding the base. You seem to have allot of that in Chandwell. Thanks for the mention! Don

Love the plumbing, so typical of the back of buildings. I spent a happy couple of hours wandering around Carmarthen last week looking at buildings. The back of one had a dozen windows and not one lined up with another!

It just loooks fantastic Michael - a brillliantly atmospheric bit of modelling - and mostly made out of Weetabix box. I was just thinking though, that you haven't got any billboards advertising Vladivar Vodka from Warrington or some such thing.. Perhaps you might consider adding a big ad or two? Anyway, it all looks great. Thanks, Tom

Thank you Your "details" confirmed my (poor) attempts in HO scale and have made me feel SO much better about the experiments. I only have to change certain dimensions (thicker card and slightly larger line drawings for downspouts and joins etc.) I am slowly coming to the conclusion that I am learning THANK YOU My model of "the wrong side of the tracks" urban area is coming along. Slowly! I got home from my latest contract away this week so will get right back to the work once I have reopened the apartment. Your video today came at EXACTLY the right time....

You should be very proud of what you have achieved Michael. Your attention to detail is now legendary and the weetabix people will be rubbing their hands. Being closely linked with Bradford I guess Chandwell will benefit from their recent city of culture status? Brilliant stuff as always.

Recently found your channel. Your scratch-builds are so impressive and inspiring. I had never even heard of Inkscape. I have downloaded it and need to get familiar with it in the future via your Videos. I have always had the thought of attempting some scratch-builds in the back of my mind. My N Gauge endeavour is in it's planning stages as yet and I am component collecting at the moment. I have a stack of unopened Metcalfe buildings over 2ft high. Loved your Hotel and Pub builds. Thanks for sharing and giving the tutorials, this is something I am definitely going to have a go at later down the line. Have you considered or do you sell your components plans on the sticky label paper for something like the Pub for example ? After watching that build I was almost itching to get my hands on the basic parts and have a bash at my own version. Can't wait to see what you do next. Keep up the good work.
@Chandwell2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words and welcome to Chandwell! I have not considered selling the components of my buildings before, but maybe that's not too bad an idea. I'd have to tidy up all my files if I wanted to do that! Good luck with your own builds; it is such good fun!
