to say that this would have been the biggest smash upset in smash history is quite the overstatement. Bassmage is already an established well known player, and ultimate is the type of game where any character can win a MU.

The final patch in Ultimate made Puff STUPID good. Puff didn't necessarily go up the rankings to number 1, but Puff is now actually a viable option now to be a good choice. You can be way more aggressive with Puff now, with the drill and pound combos being so much more intense and putting more pressure on spacies, PLUS with Puff being like THEE floatie? That is a dangerous combo.

Tweek is so good but bassmage choked twice that game, he should have went for a jab reset at the end, even if it missed, i agree dash attack should have killed but we know jiggly lacks proper kill power off of raw options. He could have hit the rest that one game but he choked and side B instead. Still absolutely amazing play from both sides, it was bassmage's set to win either way.

Uhh… Projectiles have been around since Smash 64. 9 of the 12 original fighters had them. Command grabs are a bit more rare, but Cpt. Falcon, Kirby, and Yoshi each had one since Smash 64 as well. That means 1/4 of the roster had them from day one of the game. When you combine those two components, only DK and Jigglypuff can say they were without either one, which kind of makes them the exception rather than the rule, so why bother complaining about a fighter having those attributes when you would be better served just playing a different game all together if that’s what you dislike about Smash Bros.

I've been saying it since the buffs; puff is a solid high tier now. Do they still struggle in some matchups? yes. But would I say it's enough to stop the character's strengths from making them strong? no, and I think that's where I disagree with most people.

Feel like he could've just thrown a rest or two when he was at 140+ and Tweek was on a fresh stock. Often times he didn't land a single hit and died, why not take the gamble for some massive damage to carry over into your next stock?

Have never heard of the guy so not sure if he doesn't have the confidence in it, doesn't know the confirms, or just doesn't like it. But if he could learn some good rest confirms I think he'd be solid contender in these tourneys
