The first official release for Paul Kelly, a 7" 33RPM EP from 1979 with his band The Dots.
Paul Kelly, vocals / Chris Langman, guitar / Chris Worrall, guitar / Paul Gatsby, bass / John Lloyd, drums.
Recognition (the only studio track) was recorded at Richmond Recorders and engineered by Tony Cohen. The others were recorded live at the Kingston - engineered by Nick Rischbeith and remixed by Tony Cohen.
Both Recognition and Lowdown were re-recorded with very different arrangements for the 1981 Dots alum 'Talk'. The others are not to be found anywhere else.

Not cool, dude! There is a reason Indi singles & E.P.’s are not posted here. You paid the royalty when you paid for the platter AND have a very nice investment, but your “channel “ has no right to further profit from another’s IP. Not cool, dude.

There's a multitude of indie releases all over KZbin, and I make zero profit from anything I've ever put up here. Unless you count "spreading music that's no longer available a bit further so more people can enjoy it" as personal profit - in which case, yeah. Sigh.

In this case Paul Kelly doesnt like his earlier stuff saying held like "bury them somewhere" and would never release them, so we aint stealign his money. Love it
