Yeah, plus all assets have to load in and usaully the black screen and "Loading..." is actually just an image in front of the camera hiding all the assets loading until they're all there. This happens in EVERY game as there usually is time taken for a character to spawn in and fall to thier expected position. Though it's funny you can catch the T pose here, it doesn't look like a "mistake" that's worth correcting. if anything it means the game loads so fast, you can see the default poses before they transition while still being able to play which if anything is a testament to how WELL built Shadow Generations is.

7:58 Fun Fact, besides the last two bosses of that game, there is only one level where you play as Shadow on the Ark. Final Chase. And the Big Cameo in that stage has Big _inside_ one of those gravity tube things. How? How did you get in there Big? ... ... ... Also my favorite Big conversation in this game is the one where he reveals he's befriended Maria and Gerald. That's just adorable to me.

That would be really interesting if he actually knew them. I wouldn't be against the idea of him going from 20 years old to over 50 as Sonic Team Racing, he himself compared himself to Eggman when trying to defend characters with "moustaches" from being prejudiced against. Also reminds me of the Sonic and the Secret Rings "Big's travels" where he details how he ended up in the 1001 Arabian nights book and his thoughts on the various things he saw. So if he can somehow end up in a book, he can end up in one of those gravity tubes. What I do find really odd though is why Act 2 of Space Colony Ark plays a remix of Final Rush again....neither act plays Final Chase, which is really odd. Though I guess you can choose to play it yourself if you want.

Some fun facts about SxSG: -This was already pointed out by RadicalSoda, but in case you haven't watched his video (and this is something I've noticed even when I first saw the gameplay at the Samsung TGS), as much as the team wanted you to believe that Metal Overlord's boss fight takes place on a sunken Final Fortress, the surrounding buildings are actually recolored Chemical Plant buildings from Forces and Frontiers. -In the Sonic Gens portion, the drift is apparently slightly stronger than the original game and gives more height during drift launches. I heard this from the speedrunner, DGF, when I asked if there are any differences in speedrunning Modern Sonic stages in the remaster compared to the original if the drop dash wasn't used. -The Japanese voice over pretty much retains the original script, maybe except the redubbing of the actors that were replaced and Modern Sonic's additional dialogue for saving his friends (or so I heard). -The story trailer has the cutscene where Shadow beats up Doom's Eye. If you watched the Japanese version of that trailer, you can still hear Kirk's grunts while beating up the Doom's Eye in background while Kōji Yusa's voice is being heard. This is much more evident during the "Korone Gakuen" concert/event where a modified version of the trailer was played where you can CLEARLY hear Kirk's grunts. -Speaking about "Korone Gakuen", for both the Noon and Night parts, after Korone and Okayu's duo performance, everything fades to black and aforementioned modified story trailer for SxSG plays. It starts out regularly, as if there were just playing the trailer like normal UNTIL the part where Shadow beats up Doom's Eye. Instead of the ingame Sunset Heights Act 1 music playing, the full track is instead played LIVE by the band. After the Time Eater was shown, the trailer transitions to gameplay clips with sound effects. After that, the concert/event continues with Korone revealing her Sonic outfit in full 3D and sang a set list of Sonic songs (Sonic Heroes, Escape from the City, Reach for the Stars and Hongami Precious Moment). -Not really directly about SxSG, but speaking of Korone, when she did her sponsored stream for SxSG (as well as Superstars), she invited her genmate Ookami Mio, just for the sole reason that the latter resembles Shadow from the spiky hair, being animal-based, and sporting a black, red and white color scheme.

One funny thing you can do with the white space loop is: go to the bottom of the loop, skip the first dashpad, and you'll be able to see things from a slightly different perspective... Neat. Another neat thing (probably more well known) is that if you get an S-rank on a challenge gate in Sonic Generations, the gate will sparkle.

Regarding the invisible floor in the Ocean Palace loop, there's another weird thing about it. I did this exact trick a while back, and after jumping off the invisible floor, the camera moved behind Classic Sonic as if it were a Modern level. This made it pretty much impossible to finish the level cause the camera didn't follow Classic Sonic.

In Sonic Gens Collection Room, you had to hold select to enter a secret trophy room where you could input tons of passwords for character models. In SXSG, there's a prompt for accessing it right away in the room and all the models are viewable from the start.

...so apparently all of generations' original glitches are apparently present, as well as a new version of the spagonia rocketing out of bounds in _chemical plant_ using a spindash and hitting a bubble out of the giant loop. You'll start flying OUT OF THE STAGE INTO THE BLACK VOID and there is literally no way to escape, you can't die as your i frames are stuck, you can't restart as it'll stick you in 3d, and you can't quit cause the game will crash

While it is not a neat thing i still find it funny. Remember back in Sonic Heroes when attacking with Knuckles it sounds like he is saying "Shit rock", well when Shadow swings with the Doom morph he says "Hate you". (And i hope now you can never unhear it) Look man i am sorry i fell off the first stage withing the first 20sec, this is what happens when i don't get a manual telling my how to move on the controller, like your own game had back in 2005, and i have to explore it myself. Not really, but i do miss those old manuals.

At 5:10 there is this horrible glitch in sonic uneashed involving the chao hand puppet that can actually screw up platnum journey. If you talk to him without buying eveey product from him in Holoska he straight up just dissapears to never be seen again. If you dont by everything from him, say goodbye to that platinum

One of the quests involving the old lady from apotos can break and she will disappear forever. This messes up 100% because she gives an art book when you finish the quest. This can be fixed if you fork in 2 bucks and buy a dlc adventure pack which i find to be hilarious

I also found something weird in Chemical Plant Act 2 but I have no idea what I did to cause it. After the part where you fall down this tall pipe, where you have to avoid bubbles coming from all sides (where the 2nd Chao is located), you run down this spiral path. There's 2 ways here: you either drop into the water or you jump onto a rail that brings you on top of a loop. If you go over the loop and then drop down to the right of it, there's some way you can glitch through that loop and fly out of bounds, after which you're stuck INSIDE one of the walls. However I have no idea how I did it, and I wasn't able to reproduce it again.

5:59 it most likely is because of licensing issues, mostly on segas part it seems like. according to hideki naganuma , the composer for sonic rush, segas the reasonn that most of the sonic rush ost isn't on spotify, probably due to not renewing a license or something along those lines. fun fact that is also sonic generations related, the only song from rush that IS on spotify is back 2 back, which is likely due to its inclusion in the 3ds version of generations for water palace in that game
