Both brush ends pull off. In fact...the whole brush assembly comes apart. Once the ends are off...the brush and the squeegee brush slide off. Allow you to clean everything.

Dude, you can remove the spinning thing on the end of the brush. Just pull it out.

If you have access to an air compressor use an air nozzle to clean the bristles. It’s allot quicker. Don’t use compressed air indoors unless you want all that mess in your house. Hair wrapped around the roller will still need to be removed by hand.

Suggestion. They make these lice combs that are metal, very close together. Buy one, it works amazing for cleaning the brushes.

So true! I broke my neato because I spray too much Fantastic on the underside trying to soften the cat poop. Some of the liquid must have gotten into the inside and killed it.

I'll take running through crap over running through LIQUID any time. Crap really isn't a big deal, it's just annoying to have to wipe so many pieces down and to spray the wheels carefully from beneath so you don't get soapy shit water up into anything important. Took me about half an hour to de-shitify. But with piss, oh boy, it rides through and shoots it out the back like a shopvac. with that, you have to carefully remove the bin, towel out, tilt BACKWARDS but NOT UPSIDE DOWN so as much of the piss comes out of it as possible, take off your brush roll, take out the battery (all while keeping it right side up), then sit it on top of a strong fan to force air through it to dry it out before anything bad happens.

Thanks for the great video. I have a D7 which is having trouble with one of the spring loaded wheels so I have disassembled the wheel area and the springs popped out. When trying to re-assemble I can't work out where to place the springs and a couple of the connectors. Do you have any video or description that helps with disassembly/reassembly of this part of the machine?

I regret mine! I had 3 Roomba vacuums previously & fell for the, let's try a new vacuum idea.. The ONLY think I like about my d7 is the no go lines, which my Roomba 960 doesn't have. I should have waited for the next model which does have that technology / option. Oh well...
