Appreciate the video. I have an Botvac Connected (first generation). Same error 3000. I replaced the lidar motor. The new motor is not turning either. I'm reading 15.9V at the main board. I also get a continuity reading from the multimeter on the new motor when I spin it, so the brushes are making contact, and it's in good shape (unlike the dead motor). I also get a voltage drop across the motor when the Botvac is turned on and trying to operate. I replaced the new motor with another new motor just to make sure it wasn't a motor issue. It's also not spinning. I checked the wiring on all of them and they are intact and read continuity with the multimeter (mine has a slightly different wiring setup without a ribbon cable). Any idea what I'm missing here in my troubleshooting steps? I'm stumped at this point. Appreciate any thoughts you might have. Thanks.

@@drcjbrown well my guess it’s the control board then. Having said that I think it’s time to give up on these Neato as their server will or possibly already is shut down which means the map will no longer work making the vacuum useless!

what to do if after changing the motor the robot does not move around the apartment but just rotates in one place?

I had this issue and I though it was the speed of the motor but it turned out to be the direction of rotation of the motor which is not the same from motor to motor. So just switch the red/black wires of the motor and try again.

@@egidijuspakstas2864 my guess is the lidar is not spinning in the right direction. Switch the wires and try gain.
