Do a little research and you’ll find out that when he first joined Deep Purple he was fat, spotty and cross eyed and they had to correct all of those things before they could take him on tour, he was on speed for the recording of the whole first album to cut his weight and wore corrective glasses. He turned out pretty well though. 👍

I lost a dear friend at the age of 17 to suicide two years prior to this and our friendship started through our appreciation and love of David Coverdale and Whitesnake. Graduated high school in ‘84, and straight into the Army at 18. So, I’m a HUGE 80s music fan. Still listen to this day. With that said, of ALL of the amazing music to come from back then, David Coverdale is still just as good today as he was then.
