Is the NASA universal to work with other shower heads? I really like this idea vs the standard gooseneck shower arms..

Great question, yes NASA will work with just about every standard showerhead. We designed it with that in mind.

Ben we recommend that showerheads using NASA weigh 3.5 lbs (1.6 kgs) or less.

Ben, just to clarify, 3.5 lbs includes a margin of about 1 lbs of water in the head. Therefore the showerhead alone should weigh less than 2.5 lbs to work with NASA. Hope this helps!
