This thing is an absolute beast. I work at night in sometimes rough areas, and this thing has gotten me out of a few dicey situations. Only thing missing is a good belt clip. I don't leave home without it.

Ill say it again.. 2020 Year of the zoomies!! Interesting cob led as emitter, and then the zoom function totally confuses everyone :D Powerbank function isnt what anyone probably expected, but better that then having a fancy oled screen.

Hey Charles, quick question. I have the Quantum 6K light. I found I have a couple of plastic tubes which would allow me to adapt 4 CR123's into the Q6K light, in place of the 2 CR26650's. That would give me 12V instead of 7.4v rated on the battery pack. Also, I have 4 RCR123's which charge up to 4v, thus giving me 16V. Do you think either of those voltages would blow the COB in short order?

Had this lite for awhile. Batteries went dead on night stand. Replaced batteries and light runs on half power. When batteries go dead in an unused flashlite it generally means there is some unknown draw. There is no contact phone # like all the rest of companys who think they can operate never having to talk to customers. Do we have a warrantee or solution?

What does it mean when the its charging the red light is flashing ? It sat on the charger all night an will not turn on unless its plugged in

Just bought this from Harbour Freight under the Quantum name last weekend. Not as nicely packed. No power options printed on it, either. I ordered a couple of 65550 8800 mA batteries from Amazon. Being a product from China it will be weeks before I can actually try it and see if the battery lives up to the label. In short, less throw but more glow!

Actually the 26650 cells theoretical limit is 6400mAh so those cells are likely fake. Only buy from reputable places like 18650batterystore.com for example. Thanks for watching!

@@CharlesBridgTec not saying its brighter but throws a bit further. Still its spot is too big for my taste. I do like some spill but a nice somewhat tight hot spot for throw. Its brightness is adequate for my needs at the moment but one day that may change if I move to a different state like Wyoming. Then ill need insane throw.

I understand but they are totally two different beam types. You can't compare a flood beam to a combination, at least fairly. Streamlights are way over priced as well if you ask me.
