Husker geezer here, I go back to the late 1950's as a youngster living in rural Nebraska, high school FB coach for a father, so I was educated in FB and watched the Bob Father take over. I opted to focus on a medical career and didn't play but I had high school teammates on the 2 Natty's in the 1970's. My point, Matt Rhule is the real deal, reminds me of Devaney who I met several times in high school. Also Matt has a lot of T.O.'s sensibilities but Matt is a raconteur like the Bob Father. Great job Trev Alberts in hiring Matt.

The man is tired! Seems out of breath. A job well done since the Iowa game. Things did not go well the last 4 games and it made the recruiting job difficult. Players staying made a big impression on this fan. The recruits see that as well. I believe a sleeping giant has been awakened and has been filled with a great resolve to return Nebraska to the elite of college football. Thank you coach Rhule and Trev Alberts for all the hard work and for hiring the right people.

Dylan is a program changing player, but I am extremely excited about Danny too. Danny needs some development, whereas Dylan is ready to play now. If Danny is willing to be patient and develop I think that we have our starting QBs for the next 5 or 6 years.
@CDAFishboy9 ай бұрын
I am not overly excited about Dylan, as he is not likely to be here 4/5 years. He is just part of a good class. When you bring in 2 QB’s you never know. Newcombe/Crouch Frazier/Berringer turned out well. Kaelin will be here for 5 years.

Coach Rhule seems to be infatuated with the 49ers. I love that as a model translated to college . Starring Purdy/ Raiola as Brock Purdy. If you can get Demond Demas thats your Debo Samuel, if you get Julian Fleming, that's your Brandon Aiyuk, Carter Nelson or Thomas Fidone as George Kittle, the Blackshirts as the Defense. Question is, who is your Christian McCaffrey???. Unfortunate we lost Kewan Lacy from this class. So, I would expect a high caliber running back from the portal. Any ideas?
