Thank you for the full review! Although, you haven't really tried put it in a higher level surface to see how the screen adapts to it. If you ever have to put it on a high shelf, do you need a mount in order to adjust the incline angle? The adjustment feature seems really limited in terms of how low it can set the screen.

Which projection screen can be recommended for about 135 in Will there will any sound delays when using bluetooth to etc 2 qty SoundBoks gen3, when watching movies or play PS/XBOX. For test you can just use an externally bluetooth speaker ?

Thanks for the video. Let me say that it appears this projector has contrast ratio issues. You made a comparison with he Xgimi Aura, showing it has similar issues. Well, let's go back to your previous video where you campare the Xgimi Horizon Pro and the Xgimi Aura and you'll have exactly the same scene where the Xgimi Horizon pro performs much better.

I wonder how this compares to higher end projectors like JVC, I currently have a JVC RS 640, it's lumens aren't as high and it uses pixel shifting for 4k. I'm in the market for a new projector but the one I'm looking at costs 3 times more than this one.

Does the auto keystone still work when the projector isn't sitting level? Meaning if the projector is tilted a little bit to the left or a little bit to the right. Or do we have to control propping up the projector so that it's level left to right?

The contrast on projectors is trash, I can't do it. I'll pick a Samsung Neo QLED 85" Tv over a projector any day.

And it's not even the contrast, also the nits brightness to achieve a good HDR image is missing too.

Under Color Space Settings, YCbCr420 means it's running 4:2:0 where four 2x2 pixels share the same chroma (color) data but different brightness levels. This is not true 4:4:4 4K and text will look blurry on it, but movie content is almost always 4:2:0 so that's not too big a problem. Can you check if it supports RGB mode true 4:4:4? Even if it can only do that at 30 Hz, it's still worthwhile.

really curious also. main thing holding me up. apple tv connected via HDMI syncing to homepods seems like the safest bet, but it would be frustrating if trying to watch via BT had lag in the first place.

@@taylorskillin9535 i bought the projector on kickstarter. There’s no audio sync slider yet in the current firmware, not sure if it’s planned. But I can confirm that the BT connection is low lag. I’m quite sensitive to audio sync issues but I can’t perceive the lag on my Harman Kardons or JBL speakers.

That's NOT light bleed! God, please learn the terms. Light bleed is unwanted light that falls outside the DLP chip. Overspray is what happens when you use keystone correction (STOP USING KEYSTONE CORRECTION!) and end up with a 'light border' around the image because the DLP chip can't achieve 100% perfect blacks. Not using keystone correction gets rid of this overspray/light border around the image. Light bleed is an emittance from the projector which casts light elsewhere in the room. Sometimes this is light that comes out of a fan port, or on the ceiling which shouldn't be there at all.

I mean I wasn't hopping (just yet) to be able to use a projector for editing 4K, 6K, 8K FOOTAGE in Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve, but still... Thanks so much for the video. I'm very much looking forward to the comparison video. Is it possible to get an idea of how the 4k pixel shift picture stands out from 1080p, and perhaps even vs a native 4k if you have that available. Nebula said it should be superior to 1080p, but I wonder how much in reality. Also I get that the Cosmos laser has some mobility advantages, but I wonder if there are more traditional projectors in the same price range, that provides a better picture? Perhaps in regards to the contrast as mentioned. Or would that potentially be at the expense of another light technology with shorter life expectancy Is the rainbow effect particularly noticeable compared to other projector?

Mine arrived. One thing not mentioned in promotional material is that it requires MANDATORY WIFI. If you're like me and wanted this for camping or parties via powerstation & USB storage full of movies then avoid this projector. No getting past screen 1 without Wi-Fi, had I known I would never have purchased this. Can't even use HDMI without WIFI! Great review though, ty.

Hey Bro I Purchased Sony X90J 55 inch few days Ago. Need ur Guidance. Recently after reducing Brightness slightly i have noticed Dark Shadow on all 4 Corners on light colour Pictures. Have just received my Nebula laser 4k today and have found that autofocus always results in a blurred image (have calibrated and cleaned) and all focus/picture and audio controls are only available via the device controls, not the remote. (So no good for ceiling mounting). Does this match your experience?

@@eduardosapples1997 Regarding the controls, 100% fixed. Ref the autofocus, it's better, not perfect but better. The auto is usable and as the machine warms the focus sharpens slightly, but it can still be made even sharper manually. Would it stop me buying the projector, absolutely not, it is a very very good machine.

Thanks for the great video. As for FOFO. 1000:1 ratio can anything be done to compensate for the lack of balanced ratio such as use of black screen or grey screen or adjust the colour ratio. Is the 1000:1 a hardware or software issue. If software, down the road can we expect this 1000:1 issue to be resolved with the next rollout of updates. I have also heard about seeing RGB. Is that an issue.

Is the dongle just responsible for the Android TV elements or does it carry out other hardware functions? In other words could you switch it with the likes of an Amazon Fire TV stick?

The dongle runs the Android TV, you could use a firestick with a mini HDMI adapter but it wouldn't fit in the housing so you would probably need to leave the cover off.

According to the Kickstarter page its 3840x2160. No mention of what a lot of cheap Faux K projectors do with pixel shifting. HOWEVER, on that same page the tier levels are kind of scammy. The US$1099 tier only includes the 'Nebula Cosmos Laser' projector, NOT the 'Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K' one which is going to cost people significantly more ($1500 US) and is actual 4K. Its really shady how they have ALL of the specs and marketing referring to the 4K version, while the tiers most people will be backing is the 1080p version unless they're a bit OCD like myself and scroll down to almost the very bottom of the page. Really nasty bait'n'switch IMO.
