I'm always blown away at how much you can get out of some left over fabric and some craft paints, the work you put into every cosplay is amazing. If you don't mind me asking, how do you get the fabric to not turn into a crunchy, stiff mess? Maybe it's me using too much/not enough water but I always end up with an almost paper-y, stiff fabric

Aly, Since this creation have you ever considered painting the fabric BEFORE sewing all the pieces together? Kind of building a model car. Painting the piece prior to gluing them together so the painting looks cleaner and more crisp.

The bit where you painted the EVA foam eyepiece, left me puzzled. If you painted the metalic bits with rub'n buff instead of silver spray paint, you'd have saved yourself a step, as the EVA foam was already black. tho it stlll lookd mavelous, Nice work!

I spot clean cosplays that are painted like this, just like I would an armor cosplay! :) That way if any paint fades from washing you can just touch it up!
