really love this move back toward the intelligent sound of that 90's era. beautiful and rough, melodic and smashing simultaneous. the amens feel harder,in this era, which I freakin love. I occasionally had the feeling, back then, if only, you could combine the liquid silk atmospherics with some rude drumwork, and, voila. here we are. thanks, sci wax! i love the sonic moves that the producers are making in this new wave of spacy drumfunk amenism/choppage. whatever the terminology, it soothes my jungle soul, for sure
