An absolute beaut of a boat!! Probably the finest finished ASRC I've seen - fair puts mine to shame! Really liking your rig - I have a Topper rig, so everything simple & bulletproof and dirt cheap to maintain. The kayak hatches are a definite improvement on the original, and like the neoprene hatch cover - might try something similar, though would want some curved struts just to maintain the shape and avoid pooling. Hope you have many happy days out in her!

Looks awesome!! Hope to see ya out on the water one day. Awesome looking rowcruiser! Only thing that concerned me was the neoprene top. It would be fine 99% of the time but if you plan on doing any ocean adventures in heavy seas, those neoprene covers blow out when big waves hit them. A race to Alaska Tahitian outrigger filled with water when their neoprene cover gave out. I was glad I had a hard top on my R2AK attempt. Anyways. Super stoked for you! If you’re in CA doing any adventures, give me a ring! Cheers man!

Great ride, I built an 18' open lug/yawl sailboat that can be rowed. How tall are the masts? I probably could be towed "rigged" if it's not too tall or wide. Happy sailing!

Hello Sean. I just discovered this boat, and think it would make a great adventure racer here in FL. I like the idea of the Hobie rigs. I’m looking forward to your follow up videos!

Looking great. Looking forward to seeing the boat under sail. Interested in how it compares to my TI.

Also be sure to tether the tiller. Mine slid off during race to alaska and with all the pressure of the tiller being underwater, I almost broke it. A simple cord around the stretcher would do. On another note, the foam around the tiller is a great idea!

Just curious, how much does this boat cost to buy?

Im pretty interested, how one can selfright that boat, when overturned, say because of rough seas, or accident. That may be the actual reason, why the amas seem to be connected by quick connector belts.

Nice sailing setup. Will the sails "reef" or is it furled/unfurled? What is the draft? I can't seem to find it on their site.

Very cool! I own a Hobie Adventure Island (AI, actually 2 of them) and I've added a custom jib, and I think I've got that dialed in (lots of other customizations too). I mostly sail it in the Monterey Bay. I bet this row cruiser is much faster than an AI under the right conditions. I've been tempted to try to build one of these row cruisers, but I don't have any space to store it, let alone to build it. Have you posted any sailing videos?
