NECA 30TH ANNIVERSARY 1/4TH SCALE XENOMORPH WARRIOR - ALIENS ACTION FIGURE REVIEW

Xenomorphs... now daikaiju size. In this review, Steve and Arnes go over the 1/4 scale Xenomorph Warrior from NECA. This is based off of it's appearance in the film Aliens and was released for the 30th anniversary of the film, which came out in 1986. Please enjoy!

5:16 To explain your question Arnes, as you can see the skull is still visible, there's just less distance between the dome and the skull. Originally, James Cameron wanted the Aliens in this movie to look older, because they were alive longer. So that is one way that he showed it. By making the dome appear more sunken in because of age. Kinda like wrinkled skin. But at some point in the alien franchise these older looking aliens were labeled as warriors, making a new class of Xenomorph. I'm not sure if it was the expanded universe, toys, or AvP. Maybe all the above in fact. But the warriors were originally intended to be older aliens.

the reason for the diffrent heads (from our normal reality ) is because while the costumes where being made James Cameron explained that the aliens would be very physically active so having the domes would cost too much because they would brake to often. Infact before James told them that it took them a while to perfect the dome to look like in the first movie. That is why they are diffrent but if u won't it from the perspective of the aliens movie universe then the comment below is right.

Good review, I went to pick one up last week, travelled for over 2 hours to the shop only to find the paint jobs on both the figures was either scuffed or scratched up on the faces, I went home empty handed that day sadly :(

+Garrett Rudd Shin Godzilla is by far the weirdess Godzilla movie ever made..as a huge Godzilla fan since my childhood, i really loved it, but people who are not big fans might hate the movie, even some fans will hate it imo..its really different and weird, and those who complained that we didnt see enough Godzilla in the 2014 movie will be disappointed with the new movie But Shin Godzilla is the most badass Godzilla ever, hes unstoppable and extremely powerfull! I cant wait to get the bluray in a few months and watch it over and over again

This might just be me but I didn't actually like the warrior alien design. Personally I prefer the original, it just looks better and more like a real creature and is truly terrifying in comparison to the warrior alien although my favourite movie in the franchise is ALIENS
