I personally loved Covenant. One of my favorite films this year. Though I know a lot of people didnt. Would like to see Anthony review it even though any opinion on it has gotten controversy. I just feel like it's a movie worth hearing people talk about, whethet they liked it or hated it.

personally I enjoyed it, I like Prometheus more because it tried new things and I liked the score. But this one was still enjoyable and I was happy to see the xeno back on the big screen. I appreciate seeing him under the visual direction of Sir Ridley Scott.

​@@rchihuahua858the issue is less wether it looks good and more of laziness. The human eye can tell if something is computer animated even if it's REALLY acurate after only a short period of time. Practical effects, however, look better for much longer. If you make a realistic practical effect its going to continue to look real because it litterally IS rea. CGI can only age. A pracical effect Xeno with CGI where they can't do it for real will definitely look better in the long run.

I liked the movie, I wish it focused a little more as to what happened with deacon alien and everything but it was really cool, I really enjoyed the designs of the aliens, I picked up this alien 2 months ago and I really like it

It was not... what I expected but I enjoyed it anyways. I enjoyed the Neomorphs more than anything hahaha I also didn't like the "origin" backstory that they took. I still don't know if the movie meant that AvP never happened (I actually enjoyed the movie). If it did, then the history of Aliens and Predators battling it out is non-canon which is a waste in my opinion.

Pretty sure it's been confirmed that the _Alien vs Predator_ spin-offs are non-canon.

I liked the movie but it wasn't what I was really expecting. It left me wanting for more answers but maybe this will be done in the next film. The figure is pretty good but I prefer the more classic look of the alien.

Oddly enough, this is a later paint version. The first version was more muted and darker, with a less opaque dome.

The first movie is a good movie. But Aliens is my favourite out of the series. So far I’ve only watched Alien and Aliens I haven’t seen Alien 3 yet and I haven’t seen Alien resurrection yet. But so far I’m loving the Alien series it’s epic.

I didnt think covenant was bad, but I dont really like the direction the series is taking with David. That said, I am happy that its Ridley Scott at the helm and that theres actual effort being put into the lore and the expansion of the alien universe through film, and not just shitty poorly written B quality films with the Alien name attatched.

Lol loved the green popsicle flute pose at the end! :) Also, I did like Covenant. I didn't watch it in theatres, so I assumed it was gonna be worse than it was based on all the negative reviews, but overall I thought it was good. I liked Prometheus a lot more though. (Ironically, all the complaining about that film is most likely why we got Covenant in the 1st place)

I loved the movie. I think that the studio decided to go with more of an "alien" movie direction. I do wish they continued with the story more from Prometheus because imo that was one of the most interesting sci-fi movies I have ever seen. I am happy they continued the theme of creation in this movie though. That was the main theme in Prometh and I'm glad they carried it over. I'd give Alien Covenant an 8/10. Creature design was awesome, story was good.

The articulation of the legs to the sides in 90 degrees is because he does that in the movie, it moves slightly different than the xenos in the previous installements, so Neca has done it very good and with love

I liked covenant, and I'm excited to see how they evolve next, something fans misconceive, is they think David is inventing xenomorphs, he's not, he's recreating what once was before it went extinct, by using their dna, he is re evolving them, from how they were during the avp days

Avp is not canon. David was inventing an early species that would soon evolve into the xenomorph that appears in the original alien movie.

covenent is one of those movies that to me was not so great the first time I saw it but like others in the franchise -Alien 3- I'll probably develop a better taste for it as time goes on and discover it's uniqueness.

I love the NECA alien xenomorph figure from Alien Covenant but the movie I just don't like where they're going with it. They are killing the franchise in my opinion.
