NECA AVP ALIEN VS PREDATOR: Youngblood Predator Review

I remember when this guy was peg warming all over the place. In retrospect the elder was too. But this guy did it the longest and was probably the last predator available at my toysrus before it closed. He is a decent enough predator, but the lack of paint detail on his armor kind of killed it for me. I know it’s supposed to be because he’s a younger and untested predator so his armor is supposed to look newer and less abused. But for me personally it didn’t translate as well to a figure. Do love the spear with the impaled head though.

This was the beginning of the ultimate body, if you heat up the joints and pull him apart, you can free up the joints more. He will have better range than he does out of package. Also, the young blood is bigger because of the clan of predator he is from. The AVP predators are a much larger breed of predator. So they are correct in scale.

Nice review! I noticed you managed to get him to hold his trophy high in the end photo! Awesome! i really enjoy seeing you using the CaRB and Synthetic Human for size comparisons; I'm a huge fan of 1000Toys and it gives me a thrill seeing them pop up in your vids. I _finally_ managed to get my hands on a Killy at retail price - not an easy thing given that he goes for double that on eBay atm. Amazing figure, you weren't wrong in your review! Also just a heads up, regarding serpent hunter. The chipped tooth in his biomask is a factory defect. Most of the ones sold had that defect. I only ever found one that had a non defective mask while new in box. At the time, Neca was offering to send out replacement head sculpts if you messaged their CS on Twitter. They may still have some available. You might be able to contact them and get a replacement for yours.

You can also find these replacement heads on ebay sometimes. Currently, I only find two available from a seller on ebay. I'm tempted to get one and put it on a Scar predator body.
