@DANTE MERAZ The S H Monsterarts version only has articulation at the shoulder. The wings are stiff planks of plastic. The NECA figure has hinge joints at the wings so you can fold them up, a feature that's in surprisingly few pterosaur toys for some reason. Admittedly, the S H Monsterarts version has a better paint job, but I always go for posability over looks alone (even though I bought the S H Monsterarts King Ghidorah figure with the exact same wing problem)

Liopleurodon 2000 Sh has a better sculpt aswell, don’t understand why they didn’t do the lava wings but I don’t mind it. I’d rather the wings not have a half way joint as folding the wings will scratch off paint (I’ve heard this from multiple people). With ghidorah not having articulated wings, there isn’t much they could do. His wings are massive, and having joints would most likely cause the wings to easily snap. And the wing joints on the destoroyah figure look awful, so I definitely don’t want those. SH Rodan also has an articulated jaw...

Figure overall is nice but definitely dissatisfied with the sizing. Rodan’s wingspan should be wider than Ghidorah is tall. (Wingspan being 871 feet and King G being 521 feet tall.) Even in the scene where they were flying towards each other you can definitely see that they were comparable in size. There’s only so much NECA can do for the price point but still, maybe Bandai will scale them a bit better.

I dont like the seperate heads. ik this aint a monsterarts but I prefer to play around with my figures n just make little fight scenes. Its annoying having to rip off its head and put on another. Also stop motion nanimators will probably have a hard time using this. I already have this figure but im getting the monsterarts once I get ghidorah

For me the separate head is the worst thing about the figure, because I use it for stop motion and separate head means it will look not nearly as good as if I could just slowly open the mouth

Fun fact, Neca made Rodan's neck upside down on all Rodan's they sent out of factory so if you turn that neck right side up you'll have a proper articulation for Rodan's head. Meaning you can move his head all the way back to make him look straight while in a flying pose.

Does the S.H monsterarts version of rodan 2019 more accurate than neca's version

Kaiju Alphas 2300 Neca is more accurate with the paint, Monsterarts is more accurate with the sculpt. Also monsterarts is a bit bigger and has an articulated jaw. He is also more reddish like in the movie, but again he lacks the fiery wings.

Rodan has a upside down neck when first taken out of packing also in packaging until you turn it so it's no longer upside down.
