His name is a play on Tom Savini and George Romero. He debuted in TMNT volume 1 issue 8 and is the nemesis of Renet. He's also an idiot. And NECA nailed the look from the comic. In my opinion, he's great.

Surprised to learn so many people hate the way this guy looks lol but personally as a long time Mirage fan I couldn’t be happier to have one of the recurring villains who doesn’t show up too often outside the comics, let alone have him executed this well Hoping for robot Baxter from volume 2 of the comics because that was always a cool Jim Lawson design

I was on the fence w savanti. I’m a cherry picker. But when I saw him at target I fell on love w the sculpt and paint and grabbed him. He is sort of aesthetically unappealing but in a strange way that’s what makes him appealing at the same time. He has so much charm because of that Idk I love him. I’m glad I own him and I say bring on the weird.

I've read the original Mirage books so I'm familiar with this guy and can honestly say I've never liked how he looks. No interest in this figure as a result, but for what it is, it seems fine. I think pretty much all of the redesigns that followed look better than the original. For some reason, the shirt on this guy with the big shoulders just makes me think of the football player ghost from The Real Ghostbusters line of figures, even though he was predominantly white and red, if my memory serves. I am amused that the painted lines for the hair on this guy's forearms looks better than pretty much every Wolverine we've gotten from Hasbro, even though it's such a simple detail to get right.

Man... You're so lucky, Anthony xD I wish Neca would send me some samples... Hell, even the lame ones would be dope hehe They're •easily• my favorite company… Well, my favorite company that's in my price range 😝 As per the QotD: Dude… •IF• this character was in the '87 cartoon, I certainly don't remember him… like, •at ALL• lol But I •really, *seriously*• ♤♧♡◇ing *•HATE•* this… "satyresque" uhh… thing 🤢 He's just plain ugly and unimpressive. Props to Neca, though, for even bothering to include the crappy characters, I guess. . . 🤔 (FYI: Probably something like 75-80% of my collection are Neca figures 😆 lol) I do like the ungulate-like legs/ankles/feet (specifically artiodactylid, I guessーsince they're basically 🐐 👣 =þ) They're basically done •identically• like el Fauno's à la their Pan's Labyrinth line, which… admittedly, •can be• a little tricky to properly pose without him falling over every time someone shuts the damned door •even just a little• too hard. . . lol But still, it looks good when it's done well. P.S.: I've probably mentioned this before, but it's just nice to hear someone use the [•relatively• rare] words, "digitigrade" and "plantigrade" haha
