Even thought the avp alien isn't my favorite it's technically such an amazingly done figure, it feels sturdy and all the joints move great and blows the movements of the older ones out of the water. The toe joint is better placed and of course to match up to the Pred size a bit more this guy is friggin big. I want to get the grid still I just have a normal warrior at the moment but I can't stop posing it! I love the prototype figure too, great review man!

Also love that finger hinge and the POA look so seamless without any ugly peg holes, One of my favorite Alien figs I own and I have the SH monsterarts version. I love that one too but for the money and the size of this figure it makes it a must buy

This is my question: why is NECA able to produce such high quality figures in terms of sculpt, paint application and articulation and which only seem to get better with time while Hasbro cuts corners everywhere they can and can scarcely produce one decent Marvel Legend without putting it in a series of 3-4 duds? And they are the SAME price point.

Hasbro's a much larger company w way more overhead. It's like congress over there, where as the number of people running the ship at NECA is much less.
