Definitely! I’m a little underwhelmed with the figure but it’s still a get for me to. Oh man that would be insanely cool! I would say easily the bathroom. But we don’t have any of those characters for it. Maybe one of Jigsaw’s lairs?

The Cult Classic heads are better. The NECA figure might look better in person ... but these pictures aren't great.

Although making multiple character head sculpts for one character is a bit odd, an alternate Amanda head sculpt for this would have been really cool because then you could display the figure as either Amanda or John, buy two figures and display one as each. Personally, i would have replaced the weird face sculpt you mentioned with an Amanda one. I personally don't like the red robe, i think a black robe with red interior would have been more striking or more accurate to what we see most often in the films. Box is solid, props are solid, im super glad we have a billy *and* a tricycle whats the best place to look for it in the US besides Target? because my local one absolutely sucks when it comes to their NECA stock and notifying when theres new stuff coming in.

1000% I said the same thing for the Toony Terror figure. We need an Amanda head sculpt. She is more known to have the Red cloak/ robe. I agree the black and inner red robe is what we all want. It would look much cooler. But I guarantee they already have the black one made. Im positive we will get the black robe and I feel like it won’t be an exclusive like this one. I just don’t see Neca making only the red robe. Like you said, he’s known for the black and red. It’s coming! Aside from Target..Best buy actually doubled their Neca sections. People have found really good figures there recently. Also look in your area for comic book or collectible stores. Call them and ask about Neca figures. Also 2nd and Charles stores have Neca figures. They can be spotty BUT I was there last weekend and they had tons of horror Necas! Including the Thanksgiving John Carver ultimate figure. That’s the only time I have seen it in person. Also Meijer grocery stores expanded their Neca sections. Although I haven’t checked it out for myself yet. Thank you for the awesome comment! You are definitely passionate to.

Maybe I’ll go sometime this coming week when I’m not busy. But for sure I’m really hoping we get a black robe version that’s more widely available for everyone. I was looking forward so much to this figure, the head really looks bad. I like the pig mask, but I wish he came with the Billy mask (and maybe the black robe). They could’ve included a saw with him

I agree with you. When they teased an ultimate figure I was over the moon. Constantly thinking how cool is was going to be. And they did a good job but that face….a hacksaw would be a cool accessory. Especially if you wanted to set up a scene where john is testing someone!

Wow already!…I don’t know for sure. But I’m almost positive we will get another variant of this figure (probably black robe) that will be more achievable to own. As far as this red variant, I think it’s possible. Neca has done second chance figures a lot in the past. Also if you live in the US start checking your Target stores. I’m going to be on the hunt like crazy for these. I’m going to try and buy all I can. So I can give them away to other collectors that want it but don’t have a chance.

No official word yet. But I guarantee we will get a Black robe variant. My guess is that one will be more available as well. Not an Exclusive of any kind.

Nice! I think John Kramer's face sculpt could be improved, but it looks good to me. I'm happy with my Jigsaw Funko Pop though. I personally would love it if NECA did Amanda!

One of the biggest disappointments in Neca history. Reusing 20 year old head sculpts for a modern ultimate figure is a joke. Even the Billy doll and pig head are from the same "Cult Classics" figures from 2 decades ago, talk about lazy. Im noticing a pattern emerging as Neca also did this with their "1000 corpses" figures. Lame.

You are spot on. I didn’t even realize the faces were from the Cult classics line until that night after I filmed. Sometimes I feel like they put all their effort into TMNT…sucks sometimes….although their Prey predator bear blood exclusive was good. But yeah I hear ya on this one. I can’t say I disagree with you

They clearly have the license so making new head sculpts clearly isnt the issue and they must have foreseen this criticism. This just seems like such an odd release. First of all its exclusive to international customers with only a limited US release whilst also being an exclusive to Target but only within an exclusive event. Then we have a new figure with head sculpts and accessories being reused from a 20 year old figure but with a modern soft goods robe that isnt accurate to this particular character. I mean why?

@@ajax201000 preach it my friend! I have no idea..it is very strange indeed. They knew fans would be excited about this release. Then they mess it up so bad. The only thing I can think of is they will announce a black robe jigsaw that will be more readily available. The red one is just a bonus kinda thing to help promote Haulathon. I’m sure they made a black robe figure already. Neca has always been true to accuracy there is no way they don’t have a black robe figure done and waiting for release. The old sculpts though…I have no idea…and it sucks

That’s is what really sucks about this figure. If your in the US and no where near targets your SOL…that’s so lame…but I do have a feeling we will be getting another version that will be more achievable.
